Ok- so like ive decided to rewrite the little mermaid disney created it first so imma give credit- and like this will be lesbian- so basically, in my AU, the humans know mermaids exist and they used to live in peace but after they saw the king and queen launching a thunderstorm into the sky while they were importing important stuff (idk-), they stopped and began a rivalry. The mermaids claim to have not done it but the humans have lots of evidence that they did. There are some humans that know or think that they didnt but are too scared to admit it to others. (and the storm was so big it kills lots of ppl) bc of that, some ppl r hunting down any mermaids they find up on the surface and trying to kill them. (not all of the ppl do this) Ariel wants to prove that her species is not guilty for this (bc obviously shes like the main character and stuff so she has to save them all-) and this is also like a modern AU like they have cellphones and stuff- and other stuff will be mentioned during the story- srry if the des was too long- also this contains LGBTQ+ dont like, click out
