Eyeopening Stories

Maverick Cannon, an aspiring scientist and undergrad student at University of British Columbia, is a para-scientist, a researcher of the beyond. He wants more than anything to understand and put into practice the science of it all. But other groups threaten to derail Maverick's entire life path, including one Gemma Dorian, a "Spiritual" who can speak to the dead. Two opposing souls, the pair comes together regardless for a project and experiment of the ages: they want to find out how Gemma can do what she can do. What is the science behind her gift? Their volatile relationship poses a problem, but they know how important the task is. Even more threats to the project arise, including a dangerous cult called The Geists, whose charismatic leader, Zelda Orrin, with her own goals to meet, is determined to disrupt the already shaky foundation the pair has built.

The moments pass us by; time flows without restrain, never waiting for us. Before we know, moments in our life fly by. But we always have those moments locked in our minds, moments that we learn to forget, cherish, love, hate and grasp tightly on. Sometimes they remain in our minds like a photo album of the moments that we look back to remember what a life we have. But just how many of these moments, so filled with emotions that change us? Or define who we are? This is a story collection with my own thoughts about the various moments in our lives, the various emotions we feel when we are faced with a situation we must deal with. This is a story collection that I hope to convey the various human experiences that would describe who we really are. There might be hidden things behind every thick wall, and on the other hand, there could be a single girl who can look through walls, and walls of secrets behind every person. However, one thing wasn't observed; her best friends' death. Aspen knows that her best friends' death was surely a bitter fate. But, sometimes everything has a secret behind. And when she starts to recover from the dreadful tragedy, clues begin to reveal, making her realize that there are many secrets behind it. ------------- A rewritten version of the old book, with new characters, and a new plot. "Why are you giving up on yourself before I do?" How much can a person withstand? Even with love, when hope is lost in her childhood Ellie finds life nearly impossible to handle. But her "day to day life" is not like yours or mine, no, not in the slightest. Ellie is one of many in a human trafficking ring. The whole situation has become unnaturally normal to her. Until one event would change her whole perspective on life, love, and everything in between.

Our minds are like weather, sometimes calm and beautiful while other times stormy and hectic. Here are a few things from my storm.

A book that opens the eyes and to light up the minds, hearts, and souls of our readers. It reveals the actuality and reality of our worlds, and brings a new perspective to life.

She had it all, then she lost it. A picture perfect life, but looks can be deceiving. She was different and she didn't mind it. She thought out of the box and she liked it. Her difference drove her crazy so she ran. Ran from influence, the kind she didn't want. She ran into him holding her heart.

In a month, a year, 5 years, or even 10 years, they won't be there. We will not be there either, waiting for them to upload a video, or make another movie, or write another book. But the most important thing is, we will always have the memories, the memories of these great fandoms we have created and joined.
