The two were always there for each other, if a boy was to hurt Phoenix in any way angel would beat them bloody and vise versa. But when she was 17 and angel 18,everything changed for the worst.

I couldn't avoid Santo Padre forever despite my best efforts to do so. I'd spent so much time trying to get away from Santo Padre that I never thought about what would happen if I had no choice but to return. Yet here I am, six years later, back again.

major spoilers for SOA Meredith Teller has custody of Abel and Thomas Teller after the death of her oldest brother. She needs a fresh start and decides to move to Santo Padre. That's where she meets EZ and her life begins to change.
