Liza's best friend Emily decides that they are going to explore the 300 year old maze, because nothing could go wrong, right? After all only a couple hundred people have disappeared in this maze, and they're is only a couple thousand "ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK" and "DO NOT ENTER" signs around the maze, and they're is only 50 or so horror stories and myths written about this maze. Liza and her friends have gone on a lot of crazy dangerous adventures and they've broken a lot of rules, but maybe they're not quite ready for The Forever Maze...

If you were told that you only had twenty-four hours to live, what would you do? Who would you do it with? Where would you go? Would you spend it with your family? Friends? Would you go fishing with your great uncle? Maybe spend the entire time pitying yourself? Or would you go on an amazing adventure and have the time of you life? That's what Aurora did when she learned that, in twenty-four hours, she was going to die and there was nothing she could do to stop it. So, instead of pitying herself, she decided to do what she had been to scared to do in the past.

Will he be able to emerge from this haunted hollowed ground that seems to rob the very soul of all who enter? Or will he give in and let his fate be his fate, and the hole in his being consume him? Author's note: Another passion short story project I made. This is actually my first attempt at a horror story, but it got a little...deep in my attempt to create "horror/fear." (What's more scary than mental darkness, right?) It's not an exaggeration to say that this one was plucked straight from my mind and thought process. Every fear he faces is one I have. Although our levels of dealing with it differ, as the main character is how I feel on the inside, more times than I'd like to admit. I try my best and beyond to keep the darkness of loneliness at bay, but...I still feel it's *weight*. This short story is not so much a cry for help but just projecting what I feel and hoping it can help. As is all my work. Hopefully, this will grant you some hope and will make you feel less alone for you as it does for me. Or maybe I'm just shouting into the void. Either way, I chose to believe the effort is worth it. And so is trying. Always.
