War has once again broke out between the Fae kingdoms and spilled out onto the human lands. The humans live in fear of the attacks by the Dark Fae, which are becoming more frequent. One night, Holly's village is the victim of one of these attacks and she finds herself face to face with the worst form of Fae, the Shadow Demons. She begins a game of cat and mouse with the Prince of Shadows, but soon finds that not everything is as it seems.

Elvira has been thrust into the world of Fae; returning to the Mortal Lands is no longer an option. Now war is brewing. With war comes new dangers.
