The pressure of rising tides pushed their way to his lips. "Maybe I never truly did." He slowly drifted into a light sob. "Please... in a year or even two... don't wonder about me. Don't reminisce about who we were together. Don't you dare wait to be happy and please... oh please Autumn, don't let this ruin you." She collapsed to the floor; shattering into a million pieces.
