Lynn- by every standard out there except her own-is the embodiment of Little Miss Perfect. Yet her world comes crashing down on her when she comes to realize that she might not be straight. She struggles to navigate through these newfound feelings as the focus of her life shifts towards the one and only Danielle. (This is an experimental short story. I have so much more content in mind that I might share depending on the reception of this excerpt. )

One year after the hardest breakup of my life, I present to you what I learned. And this time, it isn't in cryptic poetry, it's the stone-cold truth.

There is a darkness behind every smile there is a shadow a cloak of evil or dark behind us it will always follow.... What is your cloaks evil what is in your shadow? What do you mask with that grin...?

They aren't meant to be, and they never were. My question is, will they make it?

They were almost something, almost everything. Now they watch love bloom through someone else's beginning

"I love you," he said to her. She couldn't breathe, he said something else also but she couldn't hear it. All she was focused on was the 'I love you' His hug tightened around her figure, "Even if we are not meant to be, even if you are with someone, I will still love you on the sidelines." He had said that yes, but why didn't he say that sooner? Why did he get with that girl if he did in fact love her? Oh right. He wanted a wife material. He felt disgusted when he held her hand years ago. But before all that, she had all his attention on herself, giving her the things she likes, giving her mixed signals. If he truly wanted to be with her then why go for that girl? Fuck this is confusing. "...I...I don't know what to say. But even if you love me and still do, you're married...and you can't just divorce her," he bit his bottom lip. "I understand. If you don't want me to interfere with your life then I'll watch from the sidelines," he let her go from the hug. "..." --- This one shot is dedicated to my subject Teacher's past failed love life even though they were not even together kay putang ina ka sakit pag sulti niya sa amon 😭 She told us on March 14 but it took me quite a bit to finish it.

Yumi (Kim Go-eun) is an ordinary office worker. The story frequently switches setting between Yumi's real life and inside her mind where 'cells' represent each of her emotions and drives. Her love cells are in state of coma after a failed relationship. The series will trace her growth and change as her brain cells wake up the love cells. Game developer Ku Woong (Ahn Bo-hyun), and her co-workers Ruby (Lee Yu-bi) and Seo Sae-i (Park Ji-hyun), help in their own ways to revive her love cells.

Basically, because I am such a romantic person, I have decided to write a whole bunch of romantic short stories just f or you... well, maybe not just for you, but y'know (right?).
