Failedromance Stories

In a city that never sleeps, she moves like a shadow-seen by many, known by none. Her days blur into neon lights and rainy sidewalks, filled with silent conversations she has with herself. In the noise of crowds and skyscrapers, she finds quiet questions-about love she never says out loud, about life that passes too fast, and the aching desire to mean something. This is not a story with a plot. This is a wandering soul's journal-fragmented, romantic, restless, and searching. A ghost, not dead but drifting.

Yumi (Kim Go-eun) is an ordinary office worker. The story frequently switches setting between Yumi's real life and inside her mind where 'cells' represent each of her emotions and drives. Her love cells are in state of coma after a failed relationship. The series will trace her growth and change as her brain cells wake up the love cells. Game developer Ku Woong (Ahn Bo-hyun), and her co-workers Ruby (Lee Yu-bi) and Seo Sae-i (Park Ji-hyun), help in their own ways to revive her love cells.

Story of my life, like literally.

I created this new account so I could get all of my poetry out into the open. I've stopped writing fanfic, for reasons I don't really know, and have found that poetry is the only way I can properly express myself now. I've been saving up the ones I like for a few years now, and finally decided I needed to get them out into the open. So, here you go, have my sad stuff.

"I love you," he said to her. She couldn't breathe, he said something else also but she couldn't hear it. All she was focused on was the 'I love you' His hug tightened around her figure, "Even if we are not meant to be, even if you are with someone, I will still love you on the sidelines." He had said that yes, but why didn't he say that sooner? Why did he get with that girl if he did in fact love her? Oh right. He wanted a wife material. He felt disgusted when he held her hand years ago. But before all that, she had all his attention on herself, giving her the things she likes, giving her mixed signals. If he truly wanted to be with her then why go for that girl? Fuck this is confusing. "...I...I don't know what to say. But even if you love me and still do, you're married...and you can't just divorce her," he bit his bottom lip. "I understand. If you don't want me to interfere with your life then I'll watch from the sidelines," he let her go from the hug. "..." --- This one shot is dedicated to my subject Teacher's past failed love life even though they were not even together kay putang ina ka sakit pag sulti niya sa amon 😭 She told us on March 14 but it took me quite a bit to finish it.

Basically, because I am such a romantic person, I have decided to write a whole bunch of romantic short stories just f or you... well, maybe not just for you, but y'know (right?). Drifting on the edges of groups, always watching how others laugh and fall into rhythm so easily. I want to want to belong. Studying mannerisms, jokes, even small habits, reshaping myself like clay to fit whatever circle I stepped into. I looked welcomed, but deep down it feels borrowed, like wearing clothes that don't fit. Where do I fit?

In a world of fantasy and intrigue, people of the realms aren't supposed to fall in love, much less have chidlren. A group of girls are a result of this rule being broken, and when they are discovered by local townspeople, things go a bit sideways.
