It was the last round of X Factor. I was more nervous than ever. I was already breathing heavy and my face was looking like a tomato right now. I can do this is all I told myself. My family was in the audience and I was on TV in about 5 minutes. I was getting my outfit checked and my make up done. God I hated make up. The commercial was about to end and I was about to preform. This was the most nerve-wracking thing in my whole life. "Now preforming, Lea Lakes!" the host person yelled. I walked out and sang my heart out. Did I win? No, I got second place. Not bad for a 19 year-old. What I didn't know was that this would change my life.

Skincare Habits

This is my real life/ fictional story. But! everything that I write here really happened. IM just a girl who used some twist and made this book a diary, but of course I didn't use the real names.

This is a book of poems by myself, most of them are about quite sensitive topics so if that makes you uncomfortable, don't read this. (Warning: Could Contain Triggers for certain individuals) A few examples of these topics are: Race Sexuality Sexism Depression Anxiety Self-harm Etc. If you feel my writing could improve, feel free to comment on it, after all, I wrote this book so I would receive constructive criticism. Just please don't hate on me, that's just not cool. (Btw, there is a difference between constructive criticism and HATE)
