Suddenly, shes sent to live with a grandmother she never knew existed in a little cottage by a lake in the middle of nowhere, where she's given all the freedom she's never had and she makes a new group of friends who are witches. While she's trying to control and hide her new powers from them, her nightmare changes and suddenly her shadow is leading her to the edge of the lake. There, in the mist on the water, she can see a whole new world, where someone is waiting for her, calling to her.
