Marek goes to Fairview Middle, which is basically a few fenced in portables that the district calls "classrooms". He gets a second chance to have a better social life when he moves to Northvale Middle High, but there's something creepy about that school and the people there and he finds out what he's capable of.

One day the fourth graders (who were supposed to be in the Elementary school) went to the middle school. And they met the teachers they seemed pretty nice. But then mrs Mendenhall a teacher in the fourth grade showed her evil side. She yelled at everyone. But there was one girl that she liked. And her name was Izzy Marietta. And then there was a teacher named mrs Dillon. And she liked everyone else better than Izzy. And Taylor and my friend Kelsei were her favorites. And mrs Dillon always gave out Arrow head cards. And she only gave out 36 broken arrows in 1 month. And then mrs Mendenhall hardly have out any arrow head cards. And she gave out 96 broken arrows in 1 month. And to this day there is only 1 nice teacher in Fairview middle school. And her name is mrs Dillon.
