A fairy-tale-esque short story, which deliberately adopts folklore-like writing, using personified cosmic forces to explore love as mutual illumination rather than possession. No placement, but this tale has gotten a 95/100 in the Triquetra Awards Short Story category!

Thanks to that, she became addicted to webtoons, mangas and every drawn story, and fantasy kdramas and cdramas. Because she lived in them. But fate took her parents. A collection of short stories with different themes from fairy tales to magic to modern day to apocalypses. There are different kinds of relationships from straight to gay to siblings to parents and so on. There is LGBQ+ and straightness in some of these stories. In some of these short stories there may be death, fighting, swearing, or violence. Coal's Black Sword: Based off of Cinderella, but where instead of a ball it is a fighting tournament that test multiple weapons to see who is the most skilled and strongest. Coal lives with his father (who doesn't care), stepmother (bossy), stepbrothers (rude and mean), and his little stepsister (who cares about him). A Dragon's wish that can never be: Krostis watches his village burn in front of his eyes and his best friend is responsible for it, who happens to change into a dragon and flies off into the distance. Krostis adventures out to kill his best friend, but there seems to be more to his adventure then meets the eye. Silver Survival: Warning there is violence, swearing, and death since this story is based in a zombie apocalypse. No Need to Speak to Know: A soulmate story where the main character Hydrus can't speak so he thinks he'll never meet his soulmate. Stormy Night: In middle of the night during a storm a pale ghostly white little boy appears on a young woman's doorsteps seeking shelter from the storm.

This is an Au with my Summoner and the Arcana Twilight cast in my own version of Cinderella. For this, I used every form of media that exists for Cinderella (examples being ones where the characters meet prior to the ball, having 3 balls and three dresses, and not using a fairy "god parent"). There are also a few twists to it for my own enjoyment to try and make the characters act like themselves. I hope you all will enjoy this AU as I slowly work on it (mainly on tumblr) and as I continue working on my main Artw story.

Mandy and Leah are regular 16-year-olds; they have sleepovers, watch movies, etc. Their social statuses could not be more different, though. When Mandy admits to dating Leah's older brother, Jake, Leah is reminded once again of how inconsequential her life is. One day, Mandy and Leah go into the haunted house at the end of the road, and they think nothing of it. This is a huge mistake, especially when Leah and Mandy get pulled into the mirror...
