Fairydust Histoires

A short poem that I wrote during writing club. We were supposed to write children's stories but they all became very morbid. Whoops. My friend liked mine and told me I should post it here, so I did. The poem is based on real events, sadly. It's about what some children used to do after reading Peter Pan (before the author J.M.Barie put in the part about pixie dust) and believing they could fly. P.S. I promise I'm not insane.

this is the first part of a planned trilogy i made: little pumpkin town. the story follows a young lad in a deceased noble family trained with bullets instead of arrows, a troublemaker for the town folk. when he finds a mushroom world that can be entered via oak trees in the Tin Forest, Ernest Wallaker accidentally leaks word of it to the superstitious and shady vicar, who masks its true meaning as rumours in the intent to destroy all fairy dust tales lurking in the land. will Ernest be able to fight for the mushroom fae, or utterly destroy them in violent betrayal?

She was a light in everyone's life. A ray of sunshine in a dark room. Her eyes were of chocolate brown, deep and soulful with hints of gold and mischief. Her skin was a rich cocoa and her hair spiraled with tight curls. Her beauty was evident. Not only outside but also within. She has darkness inside, everyone does. Her mind is scarred and torn. Madness is her life, and she embraces its deadly coils. Everyone thinks she is insane. This tiger. This wild one.
