Snow White was the princess that I was sworn to protect. I would do anything for her. I had been trained since I was young, to be a knight, to protect her. In this day and age everything was about looks. If you were gorgeous people believed you had no evil bone in your body. If you were ugly then people thought you were a treacherous creature who would cause anyone harm if they so much as glanced at you. I never understood the ideas surrounding the whole thing. Everyone I know and see is special and beautiful in their own way. Everyone is different, interesting, and unique. I was never worried about my place in society, I knew what I was destined to be and knew that I was going to give my life for her. That was until the day she met and made friends. People who at first believed that looks were everything.

That's where you come in, a simple farm girl who's working at a flower shop in golden goose Avenue owned by your father, Mr. Rumpelstitskin. A man with a peculiar way of handling the turns of life, which led him to the path of greed. Even before his daughter was born, he had a long lasting plan for her which only includes to fill his own needs.

A story about Y/n and Merlin. I am writing this because I think most of the Merlin x reader stories are bad haha. And merlinfans deserve a good Merlin story :) If you have any criticism, please share it with me. I am happy to listen to your suggestions.
