Azura comes to Elina just as the Equestria Girls arrive. It's a good thing they showed up as well. Azura and the other guardians of Fairytopia have decided to select 14 new apprentices to learn the Flight of Spring, one of the most important events that secures the future of Fairytopia. And the guardians want Elina and the Equestria Girls to be eight of them! They fly to the Crystal Palace, where they learn how the flight goes: they open the First Blush of Spring, which will reveal the first rainbow for the fairy world. Fail, and Fairytopia is doomed for ten years of bitter winter. Slowly, all fourteen apprentices get to know each other, with Sunburst, Elina, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack becoming the most competitive towards each other. But it's not like things can go perfect for long. In fact, Elina, Linden, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy accidentally get Laverna out of her frog form, and things get even weirder when Sunburst suddenly starts acting nice. Three of the apprentices keep confronting them on the mistake. Oh, and the guardians fall into comas. The Enchantress knows that the fourteen have to complete the flight together. Can they do it while defeating Laverna at the same time? Or is Fairytopia about to fall? ACHIEVEMENTS: #1 in "elina" (5/13/24)

The Equestria Girls have only been through four movies, but questions are arising. The only way to get answers lies in the next Barbie movie: "Fairytopia." Just through the rainbow, beyond the world we know, the girls meet Elina, the only wingless fairy in the Magic Meadow. She's constantly made fun of for not having wings, but little do the fairies know that she's the only one who can save them when not only does a sickness cause fairies to stop flying, but the guardians of Fairytopia start disappearing! Elina and the Equestria Girls travel to Fairy Town to see Azura, the only fairy who can help them. It turns out Laverna, the Enchantress's evil sister, has been kidnapping the guardians and spreading the sickness around, as she wants to take the magic inside the guardians' necklaces and absorb them into herself so she can take over Fairytopia. Can Elina and the Equestria Girls stop her? Will Elina ever earn her wings? Will the Equestria Girls find the answers they need? Or will confusion and darkness reign? A few months after Elina and the other apprentices defeated Laverna and performed the Flight of Spring, they are called upon to return to the Crystal Palace and continue training to become the new Guardians of FairyTopia. However, Laverna always comes back, and this time is no exception. DISCLAIMER: I do not own Barbie: FairyTopia or its sequels, I am merely a huge fan of them. They are property of Mattel.

The Equestria Girls make their return to Fairytopia, to Elina's delight. But the eight girls barely get any time to reconcile and fly around (as in their last Fairytopia adventure, they had gotten wings) when they run into a sea butterfly, who has terrible news: Prince Nalu of Mermaidia has been kidnapped by Laverna's fungi! Laverna herself, who had been banished to the Bog of the Hinterlands, was trying to get her fungi to find the immunity berry, which is said to protect you from all magic in the past, present, and future. And they need Nalu to find it. And if Nalu doesn't give them the berry, Mermaidia will be poisoned until no life in the oceanic world exists. Elina and the Equestria Girls quickly go to try and save Nalu, where they find the mermaid Nori, who's not interested in helping these girls out at first. But eventually, all nine of them track down the Oracle Delphie, who tells them how to find Nalu: go to the bottom of the Depths of Despair and find the Mirror of the Mist, which would help them find his location. However, there's a price involved should Elina and the Equestria Girls go down there. In order to find the strength to get to the bottom, they'll have to give up their wings--and their magic--in order to rescue Nalu and prevent Laverna from getting the immunity berry. Can they do it? Or is Mermaidia and all of Fairytopia doomed?
