"Silent Storm: A Family Torn Between Faith and Conflict" is a poignant tale of love, faith, and identity. Set in South Africa, the story delves into the lives of a family fractured by clashing beliefs and cultural roots. The father, a devout Muslim from Malawi, and the mother, a Tswana woman who embraced Christianity, struggle to reconcile their differences. At the heart of the narrative is their eldest child, caught in the crossfire of their silent yet palpable discord. Burdened by the weight of expectation and the quest for self-definition, he embarks on a deeply personal journey to find harmony within the chaos. The story is a moving exploration of unspoken tensions, familial bonds, and the resilience needed to bridge divides in a multicultural world.

What does it mean to bear the image of the Divine-when that image has been buried beneath centuries of silence? Of Dust and Divinity is a meditation on origin, identity, and return. Drawing from sacred texts, ancestral memory, and bold theological imagination, Jah'Diel weaves a journey from the clay of Adam to the crown of the Christ-both melanated, both mirrors. In this lyrical work, the forgotten and the divine collide. Dust is not discarded; it is holy. And in every breath of man is the voice of the One who formed him.

I just need a hug, not advice not solutions not someone telling me to be strong, just a real quiet moment where someone holds me and I don't have to say anything. I want to feel like I am not alone, like someone sees me, really sees me and still stays. I am so tired of holding it all in of pretending I am fine. I just want to let go for a second and feel safe. -Inayah

"Steel Dome" tells the story of Muhammad Rasyid, a teenager from a small gang in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, struggling with inner conflicts and growing up. Named after a respected religious figure, Rasyid faces high expectations from his family, especially his father, Pak Sudirman, a heavy machinery mechanic who dreams of Rasyid becoming a devout student at a pesantren in East Java. However, Rasyid's true passion lies in mechanics and machines, a world filled with the scent of oil and the sounds of tools. The story begins with Rasyid's failure in a regional adhan competition, shattering his family's hopes and causing silent tension. His father, burdened by past disappointments and strict family religious ideals, views Rasyid's mechanical interests as a betrayal. His mother quietly supports and tries to mediate. Faced with the choice between pesantren or family disappointment, Rasyid embarks on a journey to define himself. Distancing from religious rituals, he finds "Lingkar Pembaca" (Reader's Circle), a welcoming community where doubts are embraced, and identities explored without judgment. With newfound confidence and plans to enter a vocational school for automotive engineering, Rasyid confronts his father in their home workshop, symbolizing the clash of tradition and dreams. His practical yet heartfelt arguments, coupled with readiness for apprenticeship, soften his father's resistance and open a fragile space for reconciliation. The vibrant backdrop of Balikpapan grounds the story with its sounds, smells, and community warmth. The title "Steel Dome" symbolizes strength, resilience, and honesty, embodied by Rasyid's sister Sari, who dreams of building a mosque dome from shining steel - strong and transparent, like the faith and identity Rasyid is forging.
