Willa is a young - albeit not very nice - witch in Saxon England, who fakes her own death for fun and wreaks havoc. Clovis is one of many princesses in the kingdom of Albion, tasked with somehow ending the White Death, a terrible plague which sends people mad. The two team up after Clovis 'saves' Willa's life, to go hunt the monster causing the plague - but Willa cannot shake the feeling that the supposed monster has more in common with her than he should.
