I walked through the hospital corridors trying to find the first cry of the baby. No one glanced at me as I barged in different rooms. The baby's cries got louder and louder. I quickly paced down door to door. Finally, I found the room, 101. A specific door which a specific baby gets assigned to. I carefully slipped through the door as I saw an angelic, glowing baby face. I carried the baby girl's in my arms. Her crying soon stopped as I stared in her blue eyes, with yellow specks surrounding her pupils. "Lis cara be ara por cante yuro" I whispered. [Let this child be safe for another year] I put the ONE back into her crib. I hid in the shadows watching the child, protecting the child, caring, loving and anything to keep her from harm. "Mi hiot te lorata li cara mit ki mi liv don anu saner. La will ki be mi lisponlity an mi will be la protactor, li bew la ru siuty." I swore. [I swear to protect this child with all my life from any danger. She will all be my responsibility and I will be her protector, the day she first cried.] I hope you all enjoy my first SHORT STORY.
