There are moments in life that don't feel like moments at all. They feel like eternity. Like stillness in the middle of a storm. Like standing at the edge of a cliff, knowing you're about to fall-but not knowing when, or how badly. For Lea, that moment came in the form of a voice. A voice she had loved all her life. A voice she knew better than her own heartbeat. But this time, it wasn't soft. It wasn't kind. It was cruel. Sharp. Final. "She's a piece of sh*t. I'd never marry someone like her." Everything before that moment was full of hope. Of shared memories and invisible promises. Everything after it was a blur of silence, ache, and finally-departure. This isn't a story about falling in love. It's a story about what happens when love isn't enough. And how sometimes, the people we think we'll grow old with are the very ones who never saw us clearly at all.

It's either falling in love or falling apart. I love hard and I hate strong. Little does he know I wrote an entire book for him... Many short verses I update occasionally. They come from my actual everyday life and I think... I'm falling...

A Breaking Love is a short poem about a relationship that's falling apart. One side's trying while the other has complete apathy. It's one of my better poems so please enjoy and I welcome any suggestions or criticism.
