    BUY ON AMAZON https://a.co/d/aGojmnR The Dare That Undid Us It started as a joke. A drunken dare at a birthday party: flirt with her best friend's perfect boyfriend. Harmless, right? But when Luna Marcellus locks eyes with Aiden Thorne, something shifts. The game turns dangerous. Secrets begin to surface. And suddenly, the boy who was supposed to be off-limits is whispering things that unravel everything Luna thought she knew about love, loyalty, and the girl she called her best friend. What begins as pretend spirals into betrayal, obsession, and a truth too twisted to undo. She was dared to flirt. She never meant to fall. And he? He never meant to play fair. In this intoxicating slow-burn romantic drama, love isn't the only thing on the line-trust, friendship, and identity all hang in the balance.

    ~~~ "Please, I'm begging you, don't leave me," I plead, feeling tears building up inside me. "We were doing so good, please." He doesn't even look at me. "I love you." He shifts uncomfortably and finally looks at me. His shoulders tense, and I can see his red eyes blinking back tears. "You. Do. Not." He cuts himself off with a sob. He's breathing so heavily as he rushes closer to me. His hands reach to grab my face in his palms. "You don't..." He stops mid-sentence again, his eyes shutting. "But I do," I cry out as I put my hands over his. "I love you..." And then the realization hits me. His eyes open, and I no longer see the hurt he's been carrying. The tears that had been forming in his eyes are now gone, while mine stream down my face. "We are destroying each other, Aveline." His soft hands shift to my chin, harshly lifting my head to force me to look at him. "Look at you." His grip tightens, and his other hand slips to my throat, holding me in place. "When was the last time you were sober? Hm?" That question feels like a stab to my heart. I don't even remember. "You're a human wreck, Aveline," he continues. "You're nothing but a crackhead who doesn't know when enough is enough." And that hurts. "So please, either get your shit together or stop taking me down with you." His grip around my neck loosens. And that's when I realize what's happening. I fell in love with the numbness of drugs more than I ever loved him. ~~~ Aveline had always been the good girl-until Evander, the drug dealer with a dangerous smile, saw through her façade. The thrill of doing things she shouldn't was intoxicating, and with him, she felt alive in ways that terrified her. She thought she could control it. She thought she could control him. But the line between love and destruction had already blurred... and falling for him might be the most dangerous thing she'd ever do. ~~~ This is my first book I'm trying to write, so please bare with me. I'm gonna try to post 2x/a wee
    Hao doesn't do attachments. No friendships, no relationships, no love. He keeps his distance, watches from the sidelines, and never lets anyone close enough to leave him behind. Life has taught him one thing-people always leave. So, before they can, he pushes them away first. Xion, on the other hand, has never once in his life stopped to think. Reckless, immature, and full of energy, he lives in the moment without worrying about consequences. If he wants something, he takes it. If he's curious, he asks. If he sees someone interesting-like the mysterious and untouchable Hao-he gets closer. Too close. Hao doesn't like it. Xion doesn't care. What starts as an irritation turns into an obsession. Hao doesn't understand why Xion won't leave him alone, and Xion doesn't understand why Hao won't just give in. But the more Xion pushes, the more cracks start to show. And beneath Hao's cold, distant mask is someone who is desperately afraid of being left behind. Maybe that's why Xion doesn't plan on going anywhere. Even if it means unraveling Hao piece by piece.
