All Hima can do is practice her apologies to Afroz in her head. God knows there's so much she needs to apologize for but it feels like a death sentence every time she even think of hitting her up again. Part cowardice and part self-inflicted penance, she stays away without being able to fully forget Afroz. Until a butt-dial on a random Tuesday forces her to deal with everything she's been trying to avoid.

crumbling follows a couple with a seemingly perfect relationship, which begins to fall apart. While holding on to the comfort and peace becomes the center of it all, things slowly get out of hand.

This story is about falling in love, falling out of love and... falling in love for the second time around.

Delaney Hughes is a very organized girl. She likes things to be planned, thought over, and double- and triple-checked before any further action is taken. Otherwise, she feels as if everything is out of her control. Imagine her life as a train. Imagine it making its way leisurely to a destination known as Delaney's Future, not a care in the world because it knows its tracks and conductor will keep it on the right course. And then, bam! Suddenly, the conductor is knocked out with a baseball bat, and the track it was on splits into three different directions. Without the conductor, there's no way of knowing which track to take, which way to turn. It is lost, it is confused, and it is scared. This is exactly how Delaney feels when her parents get a divorce and her mother moves halfway across the county, right when Delaney needs her most. As if enough isn't already going on at home, what with her father becoming more and more reliant on drugs and her brother becoming extremely distant, Delaney unexpectedly gets chosen to show around and befriend the new kid, in an attempt to make him more comfortable. And like any great love story, Delaney falls for him. Hard. Now, falling in love would be great, if she had planned it. Which she hadn't. Delaney soon realizes one thing is at last within her control. Falling out of love. How will she do it? Only time will tell.

For all of us who have fallen and survived the crash.... These are poems I've written about how I've seen and experienced the different forms of love.

There could come a time when you must forget the one and only man you love. You know its going to be hard, the process will break your heart and soul infinite number of times. Its not easy to completely erase memories of him, the love you have for him in your heart, but you have go through this in order to save yourself from him and at the end you know your heart will be broken but not destroyed.
