Did you ever try to put a broken piece of glass back together? Even if the pieces fit, you can't make it whole again the way it was. But if you're clever, you can still use the pieces to make other useful things. Maybe even something wonderful, like a mosaic. Well, the world broke just like glass. And everyone's trying to put it back like it was, but it'll never come together in the same way.

Torn between uniting the Commonwealth under the Minutemen and rescuing his lost son, the Sole Survivor turns to the Brotherhood of Steel to assist in bringing down the Institute. He is forced to collarberate with the Lone Wanderer, a legendary figure in the Brotherhood, who accompanied Maxson in his crusade north. Now, unlikely allies are pitted against the most technologically advanced foe either has ever encountered. Meanwhile, the Gunners conspire against all sides as Gunner Sector Command works behind the scenes to redefine the Commonwealth Front.
