The loud alarm was ringing in my ears as the large door, which was supposed to protect us from whatever is up there, opened. I took one last look at the inhabitants of the Vault; I could barely make out the faces of the silhouettes, but it wasn't necessary, I knew what their expressions were like. As the door opened, I knew that my new life was finally beginning. // I'm not 100% sure where this fanfiction is going yet; originally, I wanted to write an OC x Hancock story.
