Endeavor knows who Dabi is. He knows that Dabi is Touya, and he knows that Dabi cares about the league. Specifically the league's leader, Tomura Shigaraki. In order to get Dabi to return to Endeavor's side as his rightful successor, he is going to use the league, or, more specifically, use Shigaraki against him. After Endeavor takes Shigaraki hostage, the hero allows Dabi a week to decide what to do. Either come forward as Endeavor's son, and once again return to his side, or allow Shigaraki to die. Little does Dabi know, by the night he is supposed to meet Endeavor, the corrupt hero has already formulated a plan to capture his son. And he won't let him or his leader go until Dabi makes the right choice in Endeavor's eyes. So now, he has to work from the inside to get himself and Shigaraki out, whilst on the outside, the rest of the league and his siblings work together to save them from the corrupt hero's grasp, and together, show the world what Endeavor really is. !!
