Modern woman, Meg Hunter, suddenly finds herself in the middle ages, homeless and penniless, unless the miscreant and flatterer she happened across deigns to help her.

On her sixteenth birthday, Rosabel King becomes illuminated to the truth of her identity: forsaken daughter of Richard II and heir to the throne of England. There is, however, one obstacle she must hurdle in order to become the anointed sovereign: bad boy Prince Hal. (This is set in Henry IV Pt.1 with Hotspur acting as a potential love interest) (Kate, Hotspur's wife in the play, acts as Rosabel's best friend and not betrothed to Harry Percy)
