I'd always dreamed of meeting the perfect guy. My Knight in Shinning Armor. -Sigh- ... Not! You wish! I hate guys. I absolutely despise them. They're rude, sexist, and they think that they're God's gift to women. Before you start assuming things, no. I'm not a lesbian. I suppose that I'm biased, based on the fact that my heart was broken when I was just 13 years old. But no other guy ever came along proving that all guys weren't jerks. Of course, I know that all guys aren't jerks. Don't get me wrong. It just seems like all the good guys are taken, and even if they weren't, I still wouldn't risk the heart break. My dad is the only one I know that isn't a complete nitwit. And of course my best friend, James, who happens to be going out with my other best friend, Lulu. I'm stuck in a sea of romance, and happiness, and I'm just fine with that... That is until I met my Knight in Shinning Armor.

Do they become friendly or leave the up-market restaurant to be forever foes. ************************ I hope this isn't an elaborate hoax, I don't think my tattered nerves could handle anymore upset. Oh, good lord, it's not April fools is it? No, no we are definitely in June, flaming June. Then where is he? Oh no, oh what a thought, he's undoubtedly been and gone. He has seen me sitting here, scowling and looking like something Mr Blewit as dragged in. He's turned up expecting to be greeted by some sort of super model. Someone exotic and alluring like Gisele and what's he find, Gisele's stunted, unkempt, gormless looking penniless step sister. What a catch I must seem. ********* Join Louisa as she explores the world of blind dating, and tries not to let her usual awkwardness prevail.

Lena didn't notice the exact moment things changed. It wasn't sudden enough for that. It started with small adjustments-the kind that didn't ask permission. A shelf above the kitchen window. A presence that didn't announce itself but stopped leaving. A man who spoke in certainty instead of explanation. Tate didn't fit into her life so much as he worked his way through it, as if space was something you could measure, build into, and quietly occupy without disrupting what was already there. At first, Lena kept watching for the moment it would feel wrong. For the moment she would need to step back. But the moment never came. Instead, there were mornings where his tools stayed out longer than expected. Evenings where silence felt less like absence and more like company. Conversations that didn't circle toward meaning because meaning was already understood. Nothing about it demanded definition. And that was what unsettled her most. Because people weren't supposed to stay like that. Not without explanation. Not without effort. Not without being asked. Tate never asked. He just came in-and didn't leave. And somewhere between routine and recognition, Lena stopped trying to decide what this was becoming. Because it already had. Not loudly. Not all at once. Just the way things do when they're allowed to remain. *This is book 1 that will be part of a 3 book series.
