Dick tells Jason about wanting to help the person who helped him when he was stuck at Juvi before Bruce steps in. Disclaimer - I don't own X-Men Evolution or Young Justice. This is written for International Fanworks Day 2023 where the theme is crossovers as well as a bingo fill for Bingo Crossover 2022. And if one is interested in a place to drop crossover ideas for others to take on, check out Fusion AU Fest where I'll take on a prompt if I know the fandom and there isn't anything I'm not into writing. Prompt: Any story with the Brotherhood interacting with Dick Grayson and/or Jason Todd along with the system of Gotham which beats kids down, although the preference is between Dick Grayson and Lance. No pairing any of the above characters together and no stories which aren't rated of are of the explicit rating.

Lance tried running away from everything that was, yet found himself running away towards everything that is simply by choosing Gotham as his destination. Disclaimer - I don't own Young Justice or X-Men Evolution. This was written for the final round of Fanfic Bootcamp. While Renald Ivanko doesn't show up in Young Justice, he is a DC character as are the faceless corrupt cops of Gotham.

Gotham's foster care system was broken, but both Robin and Avalanche experienced the system first hand. Neither expected to meet up four to five years later. Disclaimer - I don't own Young Justice or X-Men Evolution. I also wish to clarify a misconception - that the only way a kid can end up in juvi is by delinquent behavior. A kid can be either an offender, or a non-offender. Sometimes the get put together because the system is broken, other times because the area only has the one facility. Gotham falls under broken system. And yes, the first Robin was in juvi before Batman managed to take him in. That is canon fact, not fanon like some think.
