This is the second of two stories for my second bingo line fill for the B-Card for the monthly Froday challenge for May 2022. This one is for the seventh prompt, buzzing to which the electric razors popped into my head even though Sirius wouldn't be using one. (Originally published on A03 as of May of 2022)

Sirius knows Regulus is dead, yet finds Orion's belief that this isn't true just as contagious as what his grandfather said, that Regulus challenged a magical being without finishing what he started. The contagious thought leads to a different boy-who-lived, and... At the end of the day, Regulus needs to finish what he started, and for that to happen, Sirius realizes eventually, he needs to find Regulus, because that is what will keep his godson safe, right? Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is written for ONC 2025, prompt 13. "When you challenge a magical being, the rules are simple: you must finish what you started, no matter the cost."

Sirius decides to infiltrate the Granger family for Christmas, posing as the newest family pet in hopes that Peter Pettigrew will be brought right to him in time to give himself the Christmas present of revenge against the wizard who actually betrayed James and Lily to Voldemort. What could go wrong? Why, the middle Granger child suspecting there is more than meets the eye, that's what. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is written for ONC 2025, prompt seven. "You've always suspected that the stray cat in your area is more than it seems. Now you're determined to catch it shapeshifting and prove it's a shapeshifter. But the closer you get, the more questions arise." Except instead of a stray cat, it's a stray Sirius. :)

If Sirius Black had his way, the Black family would remain long-lost relatives he had nothing to do with, including Grimmauld Place which he managed to inherit, yet Grimmauld Place is unfortunatly a place he can easily hide as he remains a wanted man for something he didn't do. The last thing he expected was to encounter the ghost of his younger brother, but something feels off. Or perhaps, it's just the unresolved feelings regarding Regulus' death, particularly when he's the only one able to see Regulus from what he can tell. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is written for ONC 2025, prompt 19, "You inherit a house from a long-lost relative, only to discover it's haunted by a ghost from your past. How do you deal with what you once knew?"

Regulus died in a dark lake. Sirius died falling through the veil. The brothers both awake with lingering memories of limbo's message of trying again as well as the multiple lives they're meant to proceed through simultaneously. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This story is one of my ONC projects for 2024, but the inspiration for this story is prompt number six. "Your life as you know it has ended. Somewhere in Limbo you're met with the message: 'Something went wrong. Please try again.'"

Sirius can't shake the feeling of seeing a ghost and investigates on his own. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. The story is an alternative sequel to Ghost Sighting, where Sirius doesn't react while under the effects of alcohol.

This is written for the June Amnesty period for the Froday Flash Fiction Challenge, but the prompt I picked was the monthly special for November 2016 where I had to pick a character to live at the cost of another dying and this is what I came up with.

The loss of someone, even having thought they lost them when you didn't, makes a person learn just how much that person is important to them and Sirius finds himself responding when he realizes he could have lost Marlene just like he did Regulus. Regulus had had enough of the loud screaming matches between his mother and older brother as they left him with a headache while also preventing him from hiding. In what felt like sheer madness, he left the house unnoticed and found a Muggle library, a sanctuary from noises that would bother him as he tried to study. Sirius and Regulus discuss the world outside, a world now plagued by ghosts. Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter or Lockwood & Co. This story was written for both the monthly Froday special for January where the prompt was "anything new" and for International Fanworks Day 2023 where the prompt is crossovers. The "anything new" is Lockwood & Co. which I've crossed over with Harry Potter in this one-shot.
