Camille lived an ordinary life, unaware of several important details. Firstly, her friends Marcus and Phoebe are vampires. In terms of relationships, too, the school teacher with whom she got on so well is a wizard. Supernatural creatures have coexisted with humans, the warmblood, for hundreds of years. The emergency doctor wasn't supposed to discover all these secrets, but fate has a change of plan in store for her, when her relationship suddenly becomes much more serious.
