Kelsis is a girl of sandpaper and dirt. Her mama is a woman of pearls and elegance. But their paths never crossed, not once. This is a story about a young twenty something who has returned home from his time at sea as a merchant marine. He and his father have different views on what it takes to earn respect, as well as what it really means to be a hard working man.
