After a company plants palm oil trees in his village, the land-once lush with clean rivers and a sustainable way of life-begins to rot.
The waters darken.
The soil turns bitter.
In desperation, a young man, trapped by poverty and stripped of hope, makes a pact with a witch. He offers his soul for success, for justice, for revenge.
But the ritual goes wrong.
Now, he can no longer be human.
Each day, he awakens as something else:
a cat,
a bird,
a bracelet.
And one day-
a letter.
A letter that drifts, mysteriously , into the hands of a girl with a quiet voice,
a bruised heart,
and no one left to hear her.
He cannot hold her.
But he can communicate.
He can protect.
He can stay.
Even if only as a tear,
a shadow,
a sentence waiting to be read.
She is gentle.
She is kind.
She listens with her whole soul.
And somehow,
his heart, long hardened, begins to soften.
He learns to love.
He learns to forgive-
himself,
and the world that broke him.
But she will not let him forget.
Not the people who still suffer.
Not the reason he began.
This is a story of transformation
of tenderness forged in silence,
of injustice that reshapes a soul,
and of love that endures
beyond form,
beyond voice,
beyond flesh.
