It works, but only for a few minutes before my parents find me and nurse me back to health. It sucks really." I mumble, crossing my legs as I'm looking my therapist dead in the eyes. Savannah is her name, she never judges me; she just silently listens to me rant about trying to commit suicide everyday. It's kind of normal now. "How does it "suck"?" she asked, serious as she writes this down on her notepad. I hunch over in my chair, exhaling sharply. "Because he never wants me to die. He says that if I die, he'll never be able to see me again." I admit, remembering those lushest moments with him. "Who is he, Kevin?" She glances up at me as a soft chuckle escapes me. I stare back with dull, green eyes. "Why none other than the Grim Reaper himself." I scoff.

When Mom said Ms. Travis was going to help out around the store. She did not mention that Ms. Travis's son, Baer, high school heartthrob, player, and total number one on avoid list would be with her. But Mom never shares anything with me, nor does she care. I just hope my entire summer isn't ruined by Manhoe. But when have things ever worked in my power? I just hope that is the worst thing that happens.
