This is an excerpt from my book, The Ultimate Religion - Taken in by a Cult, Finding the Real Truth. In this chapter Megan, the protagonist, has just been driven out of her happy life in Fishguard by a stalker, back to her childhood town of Hastings, where she has tentatively been attending the church of her youth and finding little comfort. Megan has gone to the park to spend some time alone and is harassed there by Connie, a fanatical bible basher, whom she is too polite to dismiss.

This short lecture marks an opening of a series of works about Obsessions and their analysis within the framework of the Church of Madness. This one is about how religion, as an Obsession, can bring to Ascension or Insanity.

An attempt at Indian Dystopian Fiction. The story is non-linear, we start from the very end. Ending up at various points. The resemblance of any characters to real-life people is unintended, however similar they may sound or be depicted. Might contain some deaths.

This is the third part of a three-part series about a Woman's experience with a Religious Cult. Stephanie lived at the cult since she was 11. She is now 18 and has escaped. This story is based on anti-vax movements and cults (it was written in the Fall of 2024, I think you can guess where my inspiration might have come from). My high school was holding a competition to make a suspense story 1K words or less, so I wrote this. I won, but I don't think there were many others who participated, lol. I thought it was interesting how this story came out with how I would try to maximize characterization and foreshadowing with the limited word count, so that's why I haven't edited this story and kept it unchanged from the submission. A fable of fantasy and fanaticism told in the form of poetry.

This is the second part of a three-part series about a Woman's experience with a Religious Cult. Angel and her family are now part of a cult. They have surrendered their possessions, mind, and soul to the Prophet. Will they be happy and how will Angel cope with this change in her life?

Two villages. Two gods. Two truths that could not coexist. What begins as devotion slowly becomes division, and division becomes hatred. As hunger grows, prayers grow louder. As suffering spreads, certainty hardens. And when people begin killing in the name of what they believe is right, the line between faith and fanaticism becomes impossible to see. A dark philosophical poem that questions belief, truth, mercy, and the price humanity pays when conviction becomes more important than compassion.
