This is the story of Kaya, a 15 year old girl on a magical quest to find her mother.. and herself Around the end of 201x, far but not from a mysterious mountain called Mt. Ebbot, there was another mountain. Mt. Juiji. It was a mountain known for its rich natural resources, friendly people, and For its magic. Many have ventured to Mt. Juiji in search of its "magic". Skeptics believed that it was just a phony made up by the people of the mountains to attract tourists, but anyone who went there on the night of the half-moon never came back the same. For one reason. Each half-moon a strange phenomenon happens. The day turns to night and all stars and galaxies are visibly clear with no light pollution to get in the way. But that's not the best part. When the clock strikes 6, thousands of stars fall from the heavens. What is born from those stars, you ask? Well, the Starry Eyed are born. Magical half-human half-creature people come from the stars and give magical blessings to the people of Mt. Juiji. In return they receive food and resources, but also friends. The half-moon is a gathering between Heaven and Earth. All the Starry Eyed were once living people from the mountain. They roamed around, participated in half-moon gatherings, and all believed in the Sisters of the Stars. Legend goes that Two twin sisters, one a Starry Eyed and one a human, will band together and destroy the barrier between Heaven and Earth, so that all the people may live together in harmony. The only thing stopping this from happening is King Fredrick, King of the mountain. He hated the Starry Eyed, and the only reason he let the half-moon gathering happen was because it was going to happen no matter what, and it might as well be peaceful. No one knows why King Fredrick hated the Starry Eyed, but he does. He banned twin girls from ever being born, and if they were they were to be reported to the castle immediately for separation and to spend the rest of their lives as maids.
