💌 "What Isn't Mine" -
I was studying, exams drawing near,
Books piled high, yet my mind unclear.
Then a soft ping stole my gaze,
A notification, breaking my study haze.
"JK is on live," it brightly said,
My heart skipped beats, my thoughts fled.
A childhood obsession, silent, unseen,
The one I adored, yet never between.
I clicked the screen, my fingers froze,
Thousands watching, yet only he I chose.
There he sat, smiling at another,
A girl beside him, laughter like no other.
Her hair braided, her hoodie worn,
My little bird, in daylight, was torn.
"Annyeonghaseyo, Jungkook simnida," she said,
My chest tightened, tears I shed.
"This is my wife," came his gentle voice,
My world shattered, no other choice.
I whispered softly, behind my tears,
"You may never be mine, yet you are near."
I saw his face, a radiant glow,
A dream I'd held, letting it go.
Rain outside, night's dark embrace,
My love for him, silent, no space.
Five years of secret, five years of pain,
Carved into my heart like endless rain.
Though reality takes him far away,
In my mind, in my world, he'll stay.
I wipe my tears, return to my books,
Glances at his photo, a thousand looks.
"What isn't mine," I softly declare,
"Doesn't have to vanish, it's always there."🦋🖤💗
