Brand New Day follows Valerie, a young Newsie in 1899 Manhattan, as she records her thoughts in a journal she will slowly grow to love. She uses this journal to figure herself out, finding information about her past. Through her writing, her world slowly unfolds; from her routines with Jack and Crutchie to the pressure of surviving day by day in a city that does not make things easy for people like them. Sooooo I've seen a lot of people doing Warrior Cat OC reviews, and since I love warrior cats, I thought, hey, I'm gonna do one of my own. That quickly failed. So now, since I have recently become frickin' obsessed with Newsies, I thought, hey, why don't we do one of those, but convert it into Newsies and make it my own? So that's what we're doing. Enjoy.
