It was said the Labyrinth had once been the great meeting place, a sprawling city at the heart of an endless maze where a million humans hosted the Houses of the Aelfir. But when the Thaumaturgists, overlords of human and Aelfir alike, went to war, everything was ruined and the Labyrinth became an abandoned prison. The surviving humans were trapped behind boundary walls a hundred feet high, and all magic was forbidden. And now the war is returning. The Relic Guild are all that stand against the end of the city. Roxy is going to be a strong character and is going to discover something huge about herself and what her role is in the apocalypse that Hellboy is destined to bring about. I've had this story floating around in my head for quite some time and I finally decided to put them into words. I'm hoping there are others who will enjoy this story.

As time passed, a question passed through my mind, one the professor had asked and I shook my head to chase it away. But the longer it looked at me, two sharp and intelligent eyes of a creature in a black cloud, it began to back up, and the more it did, the more focused its entity was. Black flakes, neatly arranged, from small to big, branched out from between its' eyes to hardened rocks crossing above the eyes like eyebrows. But before it could move further away, I denied it, "No!" I exclaimed, thrusting a hand into the disc, shattering the liquid that drenched my head in a cool liquid, the bubble too then collapsed into droplets and pounded upon me like a waterfall. I was drenched, shivering initially, with a heavy weight added to my uniform. A boy has resigned that he would be a non-magical child in a family of witches and wizards. He has turned of age and gets a letter that is a little confusing.
