(Prequel of LOVE YOU TO DEATH.) The Lover begged the archangels to let them go back down to earth so they can fix things. The archangels refused the offer. So The Lover turned to its lover, The Monomaniac, for help. The Monomaniac taught The Lover how to numb their wings so they could fall. But once The Lover went down to earth, there was no way to get them back.
