In my mind, I always write better fiction content while listening to a playlist that I have based on the themes of the story or on the personalities of my characters. And if I'm reading another person's piece of fiction, I love finding songs that match the vibes of the story to make the writing more concrete-which increases my levels of focus and engagement. I created this playlist to listen to while writing the drafts of my first full-length fantasy novella Of Glens and Ghosts, as well as for any reader who comes across my page that shares this common interest with me. This novella is based on a 36-page fanfiction I had written two years ago for a class, that I have posted on this Wattpad account along with a book of original poems. Now that I've been over the hurdle of writing 36 pages of fanfiction as an undergrad, I wanted to try my luck with the original characters I used and get a more original story written down. As the spring semester at my university's English Education program winds down and summer begins, I will try to commit to writing more content for the novella now that I will have more free time and new inspirations for my characters, due to the new experiences I have gained over the last year.
