Othos is a vast, ancient, and ever-unfolding world-shaped by myth, magic, and the enduring struggles of its peoples. From the frostbitten wastes of the far Northlands to the blazing sands of the Deserts of Braavos, the land stretches wide and wild, teeming with forgotten ruins, sacred groves, battle-scarred frontiers, and secrets still unearthed.
Eleven known races walk its soil: Men, Elves, Dwarves, Beastfolk, Halflings, Groblinoks, Orcs, Half-Elves, Half-Orcs and the mysterious Plantoids and The Varnakai
Othos is a land of staggering diversity: from the enchanted woodlands of O'hadell in western Yael Caelora and the starlit marshes of Dararum and Synō in Elnō Kith, to the lush, breathless jungles of distant Qingwei and the highland plateaus of Brath. Dense, primeval forests, arid steppes, volcanic coasts, and frost-rimed mountains make this a world of constant challenge and transformation.
Three great empires shape the course of Othos history, The Empire of Helmara, The Dominion of Lanjo, The Throne of Ironclaw,
Othos is girdled by three oceans, each with its own legends and monsters: The Ocean Titus, the Julius Sea, and the mysterious and dangerous Frostfire Sea to the northeast. Scattered across these waters lie lush isles and volcanic chains-each a realm unto itself.
Magic pulses through the roots of the world. Some draw from starlight or storm, others from flame, stone, or blood. Holy Ones walk among the folk in song and story, and Dark Ones linger at the edge of memory, banished, but never quite forgotten.
In this book are the many tales, legends and stories told around Othos.
