COMING SOON Denethor, Steward of Gondor, has always played favorites with his children. While Boromir can do no wrong, Faramir can do no right in the eyes of his father. Boromir is free to do as he wishes, while Faramir is always under his father's thumb, as the rest of the kingdom suffers with him. This extends even to the younger son's choice in wife when a peasant man offends his father, and Denethor takes his daughter in penance. Will the son of the Steward and the baker's daughter dare to defy Denethor's wishes and find love and solace within each other? Or will they fall deeper into darkness as the shadow of Sauron grows slowly in Mordor?

In which the fair Prince of Ithilien is forced to weigh his duty against his love for a fallen star. (Set at the end of the Third Age and beginning of the Fourth Age). Crossover between Neil Gaiman's Stardust and Tolkien's Lord of the Rings/Peter Jackson's Film trilogy.

This is my response to that ever painful scene in the Return of the King between Denethor, the Steward of Gondor, and his youngest son, Faramir. It takes the form of a very angry elf woman named Nienna. (I've taken more inspiration from the cinema version of this scene for dramatic effect)

Ravera wakes up in Middle Earth with no idea how to get back. She soon finds out that everything that happened is exactly like the movie - word for word. With her arrival though, things begin to change - slowly. Now she has to help them get the ring to Mordor - because the ending of the book isn't certain anymore. Sounds boring I know - I suck at descriptions :)
