Mr. Starbury relies a bit too much on the horoscopes in the newspaper. Will his friend, David, have the ability to control him before he gets carried away?

It's 1925 and Toby of Elmwood Manor loves a man named George who most certainly loves him back. And although they're married to two wonderful ladies- Meg and Sophia- they still love each other firstly. Toby's cousin Meg is in love with Sophia, and Sophia equally in love with her, and under the manor roof they live the life of two married couples, seemingly the same as everyone else, two husbands and wives- two in love pairs. The Servants Revolt- A missing tiara causes chaos in the manor, leading to a clash between servants and employers. 3. The Outing- Taking a trip to the seaside with George, Meg and Sophia to meet his old friend Abdul, Toby finds himself with conflicting emotions over who he is supposed to be. 4. Every Picture Tells a Story- Some private photographs taken at the manor cause some problems when they fall into the wrong hands. 5. An Un-Ideal Husband- Toby and friends are under pressure when Sophia's parents arrive for the Christmas and New Year period. Can they keep their cool? 6. 'Til Death Do us Part- A morbid mood descends over the manor when someone in the village dies. And ghosts from the past have Toby thinking of the future. 7. Is There Anybody There?- As a storm holds them prisoner in the manor, Toby is convinced that Charlie is haunting them. 8. The Play's the Thing- Toby has 48 hours to write a play for the church group. Is he up to the task? 9. The Meddlers- When maid Eleanor develops a crush on the boy from the village store, Toby and co. are determined to pair them up. 10. One Year- On the anniversary of their official nuptials, Toby, George, Meg and Sophia are determined to commemorate their 'secret' unions.

There is literature, and then there is what English teachers call "literary junk food." You know, those books that are cliche, possibly trashy, wholly unrealistic, and that you can't get enough of. Or can you? To quote Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet, "the sweetest honey/Is loathsome in its own deliciousness." This series is dedicated to replicating the taste of eating an entire one-pound bag of Skittles.

Life is hard for English teacher Adam Owen. Stuck in the uneasy cleft between Paula and Sarah Goodbody sounds like the perfect place but it can get a bit hot! Couple this with the pathetic moronic behaviour of his best friend Dave Connely, the haughty arrogance of Nigel Tranter and the Stalin-like iron discipline of his Head Teacher Ms Pikestaff and life can get more than a little difficult. Follow Adam on his quest for love and the meaning of life through this farcical romp through the education system.

But will Archie cash in on the fame of his discovery before Braithwaite can steal his girl and a wandering mummy gets them all?

"The Turing Tape", a one-act play, is a madcap conspiracy theory about the life and times of Alan Mathison Turing, a brilliant cryptanalyst, computer visionary, and homosexual within the British intelligence community of the 1940s and 50s. The play's chief conceit is that, through a troubled romantic relationship with fellow mathematician Robin Gandy, Turing was drawn into the cloak-and-dagger world of notorious Soviet moles Donald Maclean, Guy Burgess, and Anthony Blunt. At its heart, "The Turing Tape" is a love story, tracing Turing's obsession with Gandy from their benign picnics during the London bombings of 1941, through his homosexual trial and state-sponsored oestrogen injections of 1952, to his lonely and tragic death in June of 1954. Interwoven throughout the play is the titular Turing Tape, a secretly encrypted account of events, recorded by Alan in his final days as he awaits assassination at the hands of the KGB.

In this first chapter of the published novel The Chameleon Shuffle (Open Books), High Court Justice Franz Babel dons a fake mustache, assumes a false identity, and attempts to seduce circus trapeze artist Isabella Trotsky of the world famous Flying Trotskys.

Facing bankruptcy, a kid-hating television show-runner couple rent an orphan to worm their way back into the business with their family-oriented peers, but the little con artist has a scam of her own. This is adapted from my feature film screenplay, which won the 2016 Napa Film Festival Pitch Competition. There is some 17+ language.
