An essay I wrote during our Fahrenheit 451 Unit in Sophomore [HS] Year. My English teacher tasked us with a quote "Internet Detox", and write a paragraph or two after finishing. I WROTE THE OTHER 3 [61]

This is an essay for my English II class which had to be written in a different point of view of one of the characters from the books we have read throughout the year. I chose to write a "hidden" scene from 'Fahrenheit 451' by Ray Bradbury in Clarisse's point of view. I go in depth of what happens to Clarisse when she disappears for no reason in the book and what happens afterwards as well.

Why did Mrs. Phelps cry in response to Montag's poem? Her suppressed feelings and sensibilities are revealed here. This is a short story/extension/alternate ending of what happened that night when Mrs. Clara Phelps came home.

The ending if this famous book left many loose ends, I figured I would tie them up! "But he was at the river" is a reference to the quote in the actual book Fahrenheit 451 if you can find that quote It makes more sense! If you have not read it this is not the fanfic for you! Also, if you are to lazy to find the quote it is basically the part where Montag reaches the river.
