*Chance: Part 1 - The Fire* | Summary Al-Hikmah Islamic Academy, Nigeria. 40 students, 12 caretakers. One promise: "If fire comes, we burn together." Chance is the boy who remembers every name, every face. A fire starts. It spreads fast. The building traps everyone. In the chaos, Chance makes a choice that haunts him for 10 years - he survives. 28 students don't. The journal with all 40 names becomes the only thing left. Part 1 ends with Chance alive, but broken. Guilt, questions, and 40 names burned into his memory. The motto: _"40 names. 1 night. A scar that lasted 10 years."_ This isn't about the fire itself. It's about what fire takes, what guilt does to a survivor, and how one promise can become a life sentence. It's dark, heavy, and raw. The whole trilogy starts here - because without The Fire, there's no Journal, and no Ending.

*Chance: Part 2 - The Journal* | Summary 10 years later. Chance is still carrying 40 names. No peace, no answers. Just the black journal with charred edges and handprints he couldn't save. He stops hiding from the guilt. He opens the journal. Each name becomes a mission. He finds the 11 other survivors. Together they start tracking down families, making amends, and uncovering why the fire spread so fast that night. The journal isn't just memories anymore. It's proof. It's evidence. It's a promise written in ink. Some people want the past buried. Corruption, silence, "let it rest." But 40 names won't let Chance rest. Part 2 is the journey: from survivor's guilt → to purpose. From "why me" → to "what now." This is the middle chapter. No fire, no ending yet. Just work. Just showing up for 40 people who can't speak for themselves. The motto: _"40 names in ink. 11 hearts on fire. 1 promise to keep."_ Part 2 ends with the group finally understanding the full truth... but not ready to face it.
