Back Story: Two years after her birth her parents were killed for not joining the Death Eaters. They were highly revered Pure-bloods. After their death she was sent to an orphanage. She was adopted a few months later by a nice muggle couple. Age 13 only a few days before she turns 14 she' visited by a man with a white beard and funny robes (AKA Albus Dumbledore). He gave her an invitation to study at Hogwarts. She thought he was crazy, after all Hogwarts was a made up place a place that only existed in books that she read and the movies she watched. JK Rowling was her favorite author. She brought her books to life and made them feel real. She'd read and reread all seven books watched all 8 movies religiously. She knew every character and every line of the book. Felt as if she knew Harry, Ron, Hermione, and all the characters in the books personally. After much persuasion from her parents and the funny looking man she agrees. She's brought into a world that she thought was make believe. All characters except Grace are JK Rowling's. I walked down the hall alongside Elzra. The walk was silent. He suddenly stopped walking and looked at me. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion, "What is it?" I asked him. Based on somewhat true events, and ideas, I hope this story can provide at least a touch of light on the subject. When a young merman rescues a human prince from drowning, he is captured by a vengeful dragon. Originally meant as a ploy to bait the prince, but perhaps grows into something more. What starts out as a deep hatred and fear, can blossom into a deep and powerful love. And what originally was meant to be damnation, can become protection. Author's note: Although based upon true events, obviously I wasn't ever a merman and wasn't captured by my best friend. However, the true feelings and emotions are plentiful.
