Neslihan Sultan was born as daughter of Sultan Mahmud and Hibetullah Sultan. She enjoyed her easy life with her parents and siblings in Topkapi palace, all until her 18th birthday when her father suddenly died. It was a surprise to everyone especially to her who was her father's favourite child. Since there was no rule of fratricide anymore, the throne was inherited by the eldest prince of the Imperial Family. Then her cousin Orhan ascended the throne, only because he was four years elder than her brother Kasim. Orhan locked her brother Kasim in kafes and exiled her mother, and then he decided Neslihan as only female Sultana by birth in the dynasty could do something that would bring him a favour. Instead of continuing the war with Crimeans, he decided to give his cousin Neslihan to Khanzade Mehmed Giray, who just ascended throne, as a wife. Crimeans knew she was jewel of Ottoman dynasty and accepted it to end the war. Mehmed Giray's life changed completely. He had to abandon woman he loves just because he had a duty to marry Ottoman Sultana who was of higher position than him. He had to abandon his harem and have her as his only wife, even though that was the last thing he wanted. He had to marry a woman to save his country, but that decision would only affect him. How would Neslihan and Mehmed handle the decision that was made by someone who has higher authority than them? Will they find their way to happiness beside everything, or will they live their life desperate because they are forced to be with someone they don't even know?

Naime was daughter of Sultan Ahmed Khan and Kosem Sultana. She was born as twin sister of Sultan Murad. When she turned 14 years old, she was married off to a pasha who was 20 years elder than her. After unhappy marriage, she finally finds happiness after returning to Istanbul when her husband passed away. But nothing in the Palace stayed the same as it was when she left. The idea came to me after watching Magnificent Century. None of the characters belong to me expect for Nur, Amber, Naime and her children who I totally made up. The plot will be different from the one in the show.

Trying to erase the moon was trying to remove the sun too. He was trying too hard to eventually erase her existence. He existed harshly in order to sit at Sultan's death door and write. But he also was writing to soothe the soul. Yet he wrote to weary his Sultana. She was not narrating and she never would. There would be no need for an eventual beautiful inner monologue a moonoluge and a beautiful sun loving her moon. But who was he to write about her life? He was writing about her existence. Not whoever that beautiful hatun was. If she was ever beautiful he would like to have a laugh and take a look at her astonishing face. Cheating piece of meat.
