If the one you loved forgot you in every lifetime-
And you remembered how he kissed you,
How his hands closed around your throat,
How he once slid a pearl ring onto your finger-
Would you still walk toward him again?
At a quiet temple in Bangkok, Tai Lin is handed a pearl by a stranger.
From that moment, he begins a journey through three lifetimes-of love, loss, and a reunion written in fate.
🔹 In the first life, he is a newly arrived Chinese merchant's son in 1930s Chiang Mai, fluent in English and noticed by a British colonial officer named Kairan. They grow close-and are inevitably torn apart.
🔹 In the second, he becomes a personal servant in 1860s London, attending to Kairan once more-this time a cold, repressed aristocrat. Behind closed doors, desire simmers into control, and surrender is whispered: "I am your dog."
🔹 In the final loop, he wakes again in his original body. He remembers everything.
But Kairan-he remembers nothing at all.
The pearl is silent.
The vow, long gone.
Yet in the quiet dark, he still calls his name.
