Sleep. Work. Complain. Those were three words that fairly summed up 26 year old Daniel Fletcher's life, which wasn't very spectacular to begin with. While driving home from another excruciating day at work, Dan is finally convinced that life got a kick out of tormenting him, otherwise it wouldn't have chucked a dragon egg at the back windshield of his car.

Aelius, a future heir, has been criticized by his father for always being too soft and kind. He decides to follow his father's commands to be more stern and harsh, but when he finds a girl out in the blizzard with no where to go he disobeys his father's command to never show kindness. Aelius tries his best to care for the little girl, but it's hard when his father's only goal is to send her back onto the streets and separate them.

This short story is for the "Love In The Time Of Tragedy: Challenge Corner Collab"! Please take the time and read! I would appreciate it a ton :) This three chapter story takes you through a mother's life, from getting pregnant to giving birth and finally, having her daughter being an official teenager. He also didn't know doing so would get himself into more trouble than he had ever been in before. After killing one of the most renowned men in a rival contract killing association by request of his abused daughter, Dodie Smith, he finds many of the mans allies coming after him- as well as the young teen he has now taken under his wing. Along the way he comes to find that this isn't the first time he's meddled in the Smith families business. . .

Izuku Midoriya, a teenage boy, learned that life isn't fair at the small age of four. He goes on with his life being told that he cant do anything properly without a quirk. He hit his lowest point when his idol- the number one hero tells him he cannot be a hero (y'all know already tho 😔) So what would happen if he found out he had a quirk his whole life without knowing it?

When Jack Williams, a wrongfully accused prisoner who's awaiting his death by electric chair, receives a letter from 6 year old Sachi, a lonely girl with recently divorced parents, everything changes - including his will to live. At first, Jack was just trying to figure out how to live life, like everybody else. However, when he suddenly finds himself in a court room, accused of being one of the most dangerous serial killers of his time, his world turns upside down. It seemed like everything would've been okay, seeing as his friend was a fresh lawyer, and his other, a private investigator. When he ends up losing, he's sentenced to 10 years in prison, only to be killed by an electric chair afterwards. The only thing keeping him sane is his friend, Evan, the private investigator. In hopes that the real killer will one day be found, he tries to stay calm and forget the fact that he only has 2 years left before he's forced to die. But his pep talks aren't working as well as they used too. After an almost successful attempt, he receives a letter the next day, from 6 year old Sachi, who he decides he wants to help. He constantly questions whether the decision is the right one, but the question is completely out of ask, the second he meets Sachi. What did Sachi say to Jack in her letter? Will Jack ever be found innocent? More importantly, will the ACTUAL killer be found? Does Sachi finally find the friend that she was looking for in Jack? Find out in - The Forgotten Prisoner. (This idea came from a writing prompt in Tiktok so I can't take complete credit!!)
