This work is inspired by the heartwarming Malayalam movie Achuvinte Amma. The beautiful parent-child bond portrayed in that story inspired me to create my own version with different characters, relationships, and situations. In this story, Kim Jin is a loving single father who has devoted his life to raising his son, Santa. Their relationship is built on unconditional love, trust, sacrifice, and countless precious memories. Alongside their journey, there is also Namjoon's long-standing affection for Jin and his determination to become a part of their lives. While this story takes inspiration from the emotional themes of Achuvinte Amma, it is not a retelling of the movie. The plot, characters, events, and relationships have been reimagined and adapted into an original fanfiction. I hope you enjoy Jin and Santa's journey as much as I enjoy writing it. "It's not just school," Anita said quickly, her voice tightening. "It's him. He wants to tell Dean himself." That landed differently. Her expression cracked just slightly. "What happens when my son hears it from him?" she continued. "When he finds out he only showed up after seventeen years? When he realizes what he is to that man... the mistake, the label people like to use?" Jerry stepped closer, his tone softening. "Anita... the boy deserves to know his father." Her jaw tightened.
