When a staff member is found dead at a girl's school, Father Brown, Mrs McCarthy and Bunty have to investigate why exactly he has been killed.

"As it is Sister Agatha's first birthday here in Kembleford, it would be nice to give her a memorable gift as well," Lady Felicia interjected. "What can you give a nun? A gold rosary?" asked Sid as he picked up another scone. "Oh, come on! What would she do with a gold rosary?" said Mrs McCarthy in a practical tone, "it has to be something in line with her interests to be an appreciated gift". "A book then," replied the young man, this time avoiding speaking with his mouth full. Lady Felicia tutted, "A book is not a memorable gift. It is ordinary."

If you are wondering why I decided to use the name Louis for Father Brown, the answer is that John Burton (Seargent Goodfellow) said in a Twitter post that Father Brown's name was Aloicius. So I did some research on the origin of the name and here is what I found: Aloicius or Aloysius: Latinization of an Occitan form of Louis. Doublet of Louis. From Old German Chlodowich, Hlodwig o Hlodowig. Hlodwig is form by two parts: - hlod (o hluda) meaning glory, famous, reputation - vig (o wig), "battle" o wigaz (o wiga), "warrior" The overall meaning can be interpreted as "famous warrior", "famous in war", "glorious in combat" Aloysius is the name of the Italian Saint Aloysius of Gonzaga (1568-1591; Italian Jesuit who died nursing plague victims; the patron saint of youth).
