Inspired by the song Piece by Piece (by Kelly Clarkson), this story focuses on Maya Hart's life after her father left her and her mother. It will show her relationship with the Matthews family, her growing father/daughter-bond with Shawn Hunter and - in later chapters - her feelings for one Josh Matthews. AU. Back when the Mikaelson's were human, everyone was happy. Especially when Finn, got married to the woman of his dreams. It was the happiest time of his life. When she was with child, he grew worried. He worried Dahlia would come back for his child. But, as child was born, Ester put a spell on her. No witch on earth would be able to find her. As the child grew up, she was the peace maker of the family. Whenever Mikael got mad at Klaus, she'd start screaming & crying 'til he left Klaus alone. Although, she couldn't always prevent it. When Rebekah would cry over a boy, the girl would climb in her aunt's lap, & hug her. Everyone loved her. When Henrik died, she shut down. She wouldn't talk anymore. She was up before anyone, & went to bed before anyone. When everyone was asleep, the young girl snuck out to the forrest, & picked a few things. Knowing they were poisonous, she mixed 'em, then ate 'em. She went back to her mom & dad, crawled into Finn's arms, fell asleep, & never woke up.

Secret. She's always been one, just never knew. Alli Brock is a sweet but playful kid, just like her dad. She never understood why her dad would be yelling in the kitchen playfully or why she would see a camera in his hand and him talking to it. But, she thought it was normal. She thought it was completely normal to walk around with a camera because thats what she's always been around. Just never in front of the camera. Colby never wants her in the vlogs, she thinks it's because he just doesn't feel like it. It's not. Colby wants to make sure she has the world, but he's keeping her on a low profile. He doesn't want to come out as something terrible, he's trying his best for her. Her dad is Colby Brock and he loves her to death. And you might be wondering, Colby's only 20 years old. Yes, which means he had little 4 year old Allison at 16. Sure, he wasn't very popular during high school but he managed to get a girl pregnant and to have his child. The mother is never mentioned and gave up all her rights to see Allison, Colby has full custody. Since Colby is never alone that means Allison has met all of his friends, or almost all. She knows Sam, Brennen, Nik, Corey, Elton, Kat, Devyn, Scott, Heath, and everyone else he's been seen with. And she loves Sam and Brennen the most. Though, Sam does get a head start since he's known her since day 1. Oh, remember 'Uncle Elton', Allison started it and other little sayings her family, anyone she lives with, and such, say often.Just nobody will ever find out where they came from. All Colby wants is for her to be safe. And he would love to give her the world, but she has to remain a secret to do it. She's always been kept a secret, because he wants to protect her. Secret.
